In “Poison,” we wanted to create a narrative-driven music video that worked both independently and in conjunction with the song. The goal was to tell the story of obsession in a playful but disturbing way. And who doesn’t remember the first time they fell in love with a pumpkin?

“Daisy Chain” is a film I made at RISD about our relationship with our baggage and trauma and how that relationship can feel both tender and inspiring, but is ultimately exhausting.

My dad and I wrote Hmm Hmm Christmas Song for Tarquin Alexandra. It was a treat for us that she decided to record and release the song. As per my usual work with Tarquin, we wanted this video about carolers obsessed with figgy pudding to be a little unhinged.

“For Tea” is an interpretation of the novel, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, by Shirley Jackson, in which there is some, you know, death. This was a quick and dirty project for Hunter, but I’m fond of the contrast between the messy old fixtures and the tidy poisoning.

The challenge for “Snow Globe” was to make a film based on a poem. This project for RISD is a reflection on the nature of attempting to escape your snow globe.

“Exhausted With the Realities of Life” is a song by Tarquin Alexandra about chronic illness, an issue both of us are effected by in different ways. We used a single shot to give the viewer the experience of watching others live their lives while waiting to feel better.
